Looking back on Inola High School’s path to victory.

In 2024, after months of fierce competition among more than 1,700 high schools across all 50 states and votes from thousands of fans worldwide, Inola High School rallied and won the grand prize package to supercharge Inola, Oklahoma’s Friday nights forever.

“I didn't think we were going to be able to win. We're such a small town. And then when we won the $5,000 prize, I was like, "Oh, well maybe we can win this thing."

— Heather Ellis, Inola High School Principal

Boosting small communities.

Friday Night 5G Lights is the latest way T-Mobile is supporting small communities after announcing its commitment in April 2021. Since then, we’ve delivered on our promise by expanding the nation’s leading 5G network, connecting rural communities with T-Mobile 5G Home Internet, empowering the community through Project 10Million, and investing nearly $18 million in small communities nationwide through Hometown Grants.
