  • The VW Wi-Fi Hotspot from T-Mobile gives you 4G LTE connectivity in your VW car. With access to T-Mobile’s powerful nationwide network passengers in your vehicle can work, play and stream from the road. Plus, you will have access to exclusive VW apps designed to enhance your time in the vehicle.

  • You can sign up through the Car-Net App, by pressing the vehicle’s i-Button, or by calling VW Support at 800.822.8987.

  • Your VW Wi-Fi Hotspot from T-Mobile plan gives you unlimited 4G LTE connectivity in the U.S. including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. You also get 5GB of 4G LTE data per month in Canada and Mexico. Even if you manage to use up your 4G LTE data, you automatically stay connected with unlimited data at Simple Global speeds (up to 128kbps).

  • Yes, you can. As a current T-Mobile postpaid customer, you are able to add a line if you are the primary account holder and have not maximized the number of lines on your account. You can sign up through the Car-Net App, by pressing the vehicle’s i-Button, or by calling VW Support at 800.822.8987.

  • Now that you’ve bought your new VW, sign up for your Car-Net account and VW will automatically register you for your free trial if eligible. The free trial from VW includes 1.5GB of data or 30 days of usage, whichever comes first. If you purchase a plan from T-Mobile during the trial period, your trial will be shown on your bill as a credit for the monthly recurring fee during the trial timeframe.

  • Yes. You can open a new account through the Car-Net App, or by pressing the vehicle’s i-Button and providing your name, email address and credit card details.
