  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Under 'Connections,' tap Data usage.
  4. Tap MORE.
  5. Tap Restrict background data to enable or disable.
  6. Tap OK.

Android Marshmallow

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Data usage.
  4. Tap MORE.
  5. Tap Restrict background data to enable or disable.
  6. Tap OK.

Sync apps & accounts

Android Lollipop

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Under 'Personal,'  tap Accounts.
  4. Tap desired account .
  5. To sync all apps/accounts, tap Menu > Sync all.
  6. To sync select apps/accounts:
    1. Tap desired account.
    2. Clear/select desired check boxes.
    3. Tap Menu > Sync now.

Android Marshmallow

  4. Tap desired account .
