What's included
- Protection 360™ HomeTech provides coverage for an unlimited number of eligible Wi-Fi-enabled electronic devices.
- Get protection for accidental damage on eligible portable electronics & out-of-warranty mechanical/electrical breakdown, and power surge.
- Access 24/7 live tech support to troubleshoot your connected devices.
Coverage is not available for smartphones and major appliances. Get a complete list of devices and coverage details including benefits, limitations, exclusions, and costs.
Enroll or cancel
You can enroll or cancel at any time. At enrollment you do not need to make a device purchase or register the devices you want to cover.
Enroll
- Add the Protection 360™ HomeTech feature in T-Life or your T-Mobile account.
- Make sure you can access the Primary Account Holder’s email.
- This is where the Welcome/Enrollment email will be sent.
- Download the Protection 360™ HomeTech app on your Android or iOS device.
- You will receive a Welcome email with enrollment instructions:
- Open the Protection 360™ app & follow the on-screen steps to create an account.
- You must enter the same email address that the Welcome message was sent to.
- Once your email is verified, your contact information will populate.
You can also enroll on a desktop computer by visiting Protection360HomeTech.com.
Cancel
Cancel at any time by removing the Protection 360™ HomeTech feature in T-Life or your T-Mobile account.
Add your devices
Adding a device ahead of time makes it faster to get live tech support or start a claim. You don’t have to register any of your devices for them to be covered, but if you need to file a claim your device must be in the device inventory list.
HomeTech app
- Open the Protection 360™ HomeTech app.
- Select My Devices.
- Use the search bar to find and add your device.
- If you don't see your device, choose Add device details and fill them in.

- Log into Protection360HomeTech.com.
- Select My Devices.
- Use the search bar to find and select your device.
- If you don't see your device, choose Enter device details and fill them in.
File a claim
Before you file a claim, check the following:
- It has been more than 30 days since adding Protection 360™ HomeTech unless your device was damaged by a power surge.
- You have the make and model of your devices.
- Your devices have been added to the app or website.
To file a claim, follow these steps:
HomeTech app
- Open the HomeTech app.
- Choose File a claim on the My Account tab.
- Select your device. If you haven’t added the device, add it now.
- Answer questions about the device condition.
- Confirm your contact details, then select Submit.
- You’ll receive an email when your claim is approved or denied and next steps.

- Log into Protection360HomeTech.com.
- Select My Devices.
- If you haven't added the device, add it now.
- Select the device you need to file a claim for, then choose Claims & Support.
- Choose File a claim and answer questions about the device condition.
- Confirm your contact details, then select Submit.
- You’ll receive an email when your claim is approved or denied and next steps.
Tracking your claim
- In the HomeTech app, your claim is shown on your My Account tab.
- On Protection360HomeTech.com, select My Devices and choose the device to view the claim status.
Contact support
HomeTech app
- Open the HomeTech app.
- Select My Devices.
- If you haven't added the device, add it now.
- Select the device you need support for, then choose Claims & Support.
- Choose It's not working properly and follow the on-screen steps to contact support.

- Log into Protection360HomeTech.com.
- Select My Devices.
- If you haven't added the device, add it now.
- Select the device you need support for, then choose Chat with live support.
