Only the Primary Account Holder and those with Full Access to the account can add lines, and the account must be current. T-Mobile for Business customers can contact Business Customer Service and Prepaid customers can use the Activate or change T-Mobile Prepaid service page.

Add a line with device purchase

  1. Log-in T-Mobile.com or the T-Life app.
    • In T-Life, select Shop > Add a line.
    • On T-Mobile.com select Add a person or device to my account in the “I want to…" section.
  2. Select your device.
  3. Select your color, memory variant, and pricing option, and select Add to a new line.
  4. Make or review plan selections and select Add a new line.
  5. Select Yes, I want to trade in a device if you would like to trade in a device. Otherwise, select No thanks, skip trade-in.
  6. Enter the trade-in device information, to find it dial *#06# to get your phone's IMEI, or find it in your device's settings, then select Continue.
  7. Provide information on the condition of your trade-in, then select Continue.
  8. Select Trade in this phone.
  9. Select Continue or select No, I’ll take my chances to opt out of insurance.
  10. Confirm your order details and pricing, then select Continue to shipping.
  11. Select your shipping method and review the address section. Edit the address if necessary, then select Continue to payment.
  12. Enter your payment details and check the Customer Agreement box to confirm consent of the T-Mobile Terms and Conditions, then select Accept & Continue.
  13. Sign your EIP Equipment Installment Plan agreement if you are financing your device with T-Mobile.
  14. Select Submit order.

Add a line and bring your own device eSIM T-Life

  1. Log in to the T-Life app.
  2. Select Shop > scroll down and select Add a line to your account in T-Life.
  3. Choose PhonesTablets and Smartwatches for your new line.
  4. Depending on the type of device you want to purchase and activate a new line for:
    Phone: Choose 'Bring your own phone'
    Tablet: Choose 'Bring your own tablet'
    Smartwatch: continue to next step
  5. Enter the device IMEI to check compatibility.
  6. Select Continue to activate via eSIM.
  7. Review your current rate plan pricing and select Checkout.
  8. Enter Primary place of use address. Only toggle the E911 button if the phone will be used at the entered address.
  9. Select Add payment method and choose one of the following:
    • Apple Pay
    • Credit or debit card
  10. Enter your payment details select Continue.
  11. Enter your billing address and select Continue to review.
  12. Verify address and select confirm.
  13. Select the Customer Agreement checkbox to confirm consent of the T-Mobile Terms and Conditions.
  14. Select Order now.
  15. Follow the activation steps in the Order confirmation screen to activate your eSIM.

 

Add a line and bring your own device pSIM T-Life

  1. Log in to the T-Life app.
  2. Select Shop > scroll down and select Add a person or device to my account.
  3. Choose PhonesTablets and Smartwatches for your new line.
  4. Depending on the type of device you want to purchase and activate a new line for:
    Phone: Choose 'Bring your own phone'
    Tablet: Choose 'Bring your own tablet'
  5. Enter the device IMEI to check compatibility.
  6. Select Continue with SIM Card to have a SIM card shipped to you. Select Check another device if you would like to activate a different device.
  7. Review your current rate plan pricing and select Checkout.
  8. Enter your billing address and select shipping method. Select Continue to review.
  9. Select Add payment method and choose one of the following:
    • Apple Pay
    • Credit or debit card
  10. Enter your payment details select Continue.
  11. Select the Customer Agreement checkbox to confirm consent of the T-Mobile Terms and Conditions.
  12. Select Order now.
