literally JUST got this device today, can't use discord/reddit/twitch at all??
so i literally just got this device and hooked it up and i got it connected to my TV, xbox and laptop.. that's all.. and i tried to open discord, but it is forever retrying to update.... i try to connect to reddit to see if it has any answers to my problem, but it doesnt connect to reddit either.... i decided to check twitch out of curiosity, and again, it never connects. i can connect to google, facebook, gmail and this website so far... and a couple others, but like?? discord is a huge one for me, i really need access to that, is there any way i can get it working?? it's a gateway, one of those white tower lookin devices for home internet.. i was able to open and play an mmorpg on my xbox, so i know the internet itself is actually working (aside from me being able to type this right now while connected) so it's just rejecting random specific sites for some reason?? what do i do??darkraisdream60 minutes agoVisitor14Views0likes1CommentCancelled but still got collections

3 of the 4 last weekends, my Gateway has been randomly loosing signal and restarting. On Fridays or Saturdays, it's minimal, once or twice a day, a few hours apart - if at all. But three of the last four Sundays between 9pm and 1am this happens 5+ times. Sometimes I barely get 10 minutes between these occurences. I'll call tech support (again) later this week. Anyone else have issues like this? Gateway signal loss and restart, especially concentrated in one particular time frame each week? The usual checks out - wires are plugged in correctly, the gateway doesn't feel hot or anything, signal is good - regularly 4/5 bars (except for the moments before a restart), firmware is up-to-date (though I don't have manual control, it's all automatic.) The only thing I do on Sundays between those times different from the rest of the week is video chat on Discord. Anyone else have issues lately with Discord and Home Internet?BrianValentine4 hours agoVisitor35Views0likes1CommentInternet service constantly disconnecting at certain times of day-week
Since we started our service a few months back it seems during during the beginning of the day, 7am 9am, our Internet disconnects from all our streaming devices and on the Tmobile app it somes up disconnected. So,we unplug the router and plug it back in. Poof it works, next day, same thing. My wife and I work from home and have about 12 devices online anytime, we use vpns on our laptops for work, we have tablets and plenty of smart devices. Now,oddly, since we boot up and start work between 7 till 9am Monday Friday, this is the primary time we notice it reoccur the most. There are occurrences during 12pm and 3pm sometimes as well but mostly in the am. My wife has resorted to just hotspotting to her cell phone as a stable workaround. Now the most frustrating part is the consistency of it all. Almost everyday during the week in the am. Each time we've called support it's just reboot it.then if course it works,we are likely moving back to Xfinity since we aren't getting the service promised.FrankdaTank3 hours agoNewbie Caller167Views1like3CommentsHow to silence the T-Mobile startup jingle on Samsung S24+
Recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy 24+. I cannot silence or reduce the volume of the T-Mobile startup jingle. It is loud and intrusive. I was able to do so on my Samsung Galaxy 21+. Help and thanks.pkbroder9 hours agoRoaming Rookie209Views2likes1CommentHulu on Us showing as 9.99 with Go5G Plus
I have been a Tmobile customer since 2013. My current account is the Go5G Magenta Max plan with 50gb hotspot. I get Apple TV + Netflix with Ads included. I also add-on 2tb of Google Drive. I have tried to add Hulu via the app and on my laptop and on the app it gives me a promo code it wont let me redeem (I do not have have an active Hulu or Disney subscription) and on the laptop it just prompts me to sign up for 9.99 Hulu with Ads as an add-on. Can I have both Netflix on Us and Hulu on Us? I've been a subscribe for a decade even when I was overseas for 4 years in Japan and only turned it on a few times a year. I'm thinking of switching given how fast its gone from 60 to 95 flat rate but this seems enough to keep me on especially with Starlink availability potentially later this year.17Views0likes0CommentsQR code

New TMO-G4SE internet gateway installed 6 days ago (1/3), everything worked out of the box. I disconnected the ethernet cable from my Cox modem (to my Netgear R6700 router), and connected it to the LAN port on the T-Mobile gateway. All my existing APs and SSIDs stayed the same - that's were most of the smart home devices are connected. It was seamless. Can't remember if I rebooted the router or not. Yesterday morning (1/9) I woke up to find all the old Wi-Fi SSIDs were still on, but nothing connected to them was getting internet (waiting for an IP address...). Every night the Netgear gets power cycled using a timer switch so that it will reboot, so I presume the reboot on night 6 is when they lost internet. Interestingly, ethernet connections to the Netgear kept working. T-Mobile tech support were no help. "your third-party equipment might be incompatible, we can sell you a new mesh wi-fi, call Netgear...) 2 x hard resets on the TMO gateway , plus untold number of reboots of the router, brought everything back. I can't find a solution in the usual places, reddit, youtube, etc., I'm guessing I need to change something in the Netgear router? Change the router to AP or bridge mode? There's nothing to change in the TMO gateway, all you can do is disable the wifi. What can I look for in the router the next time this happens to the wifi? Thanks in advance.antarmbreacdear18 hours agoNewbie Caller106Views1like1CommentT10 Hotspot
