How to unlock SIM lock by the carrier

Question

My Apple iPhone 11Pro is locked by the carrier Sprint, now with T-mobile. How can I unlock my iphone to use with other carrier ?

If they do not unlock then can I ask T-Mobile to unlock to start a new number and new SIM card from T-Mobile only.
