iPhone 14 transfer

I recently purchased an iPhone 14 from T-Mobile. I am in the process of transferring my stuff from my iPhone 11 to the 14. Apparently, there was an update for the 14, which I am now in the process of updating. That was started 2 hours ago. 

Is it normal for an update to take so long? My old phone is saying waiting for the update.
