trade in carrier locked phone
Can I trade in a carrier locked phone?

You usually can trade in a carrier locked phone. If your phone is still under contract, they may ask you to fulfill any contractual obligations or clear any remaining balances before accepting the trade in. It could depend on the trade in promo as well. If your are looking to trade it in for cash, try one of the recycling machines or a decent phone trade-in website like SmartphonesPlus. In any case, its best to call your local store and ask.

I don’t see that as a requirement for a trade in section on our Buy a device & check EIP or JOD! status page. It’s important to make sure device blocks are disabled before you trade-in the device to make sure you still qualify
