Cannot Send SMS Messages
Beginning a few days ago I am no longer able to send SMS messages to phone numbers on any carrier. I can receive SMS messages no problem, and there is no problem using iMessage with other Apple users. However, I can no longer send SMS messages to anyone. I don’t get an error saying that the message was not sent. It looks like it was sent, but nobody is receiving them. Has anyone else had this problem? I called T-Mobile support and they have put in a trouble ticket but have not fixed this yet.
Hi @HankFromChicago Have you been able to get your messages working yet? Did you try going through our troubleshooting steps on Messaging and Email troubleshooting | T-Mobile Support. They're pretty easy to follow and don’t usually take very long.
We'd love to know how it works out for you.
Is your iMessage and iOS up to date? Apple does this on purpose to make sure people update their devices. Do you have the non-iMessage contacts set to send as SMS? Have you tried enabling RCS as well?
