My data doesnt work
i am supposed to have unlimited data, but it has never worked. its been like this for years but it just didnt matter that much to me until now when ive finally gotten tired of it. ive had new phones, still doesnt work. my whole family is on the same plan and their data works just fine. i can text, but safari, social media, or send photos. ive turned data off and on, looked into settings, and someone told me it may be a vpn issue so i checked my settings for that i dont have a vpn. someone please help!! is this something i have to just go to a store for or can it be fixed over phone/myself?

Are you potentially setup on some sort of parental restrictions or has your data been disabled from within your my.t-mobile.com account? You can also give Customer Care a call at 611 from your T-Mobile line to have them take a look at your account to see if there is anything that stands out and potentially pass you on to Support to further look into your issue.

Yea i’ve checked and i have no parental restrictions or anything like that, nothing out of the ordinary on my settings. im most likely just gonna have to call and see if they can find out whats going on.

Unlimited data does not mean high speed data. Being able to text still, especially through iMessage makes me think you are exceeding your high speed data and being throttled down to 3G speeds, which are pretty much useless for anything other than texts and the basic e-mail in todays connected world.

No that’s not it, my whole family has the same plan as me and can go on social media/ od whatever they want on their data, its only me that cant
