Safety
I was recently in the hospital for 9 days and nights being treated for afib and a bad reaction for the procedures performed on my heart. Imagine my shock and surprise when I discovered that I could not make calls or text because my payment of the bill was 4 days late. I had not received any notice that I would lose access to help had my heart gone wild again! I am a long time customer of T-Mobile and feel like my safety should be taken into consideration.

TMobile offers a method to ‘autopay’ to keep your account paid. Id recommend that you set up your bank to schedule payments to TMobile to avoid having service cut for non-payment if you aren't always able to track/pay manually. I used to do this myself in the past, as i typically don't like 3rd party access to my account/credit card. Ive gone tonthe method of using/creating an account just for this purpose, and keep limited funds in it to avoid either an error or hack allowing for a drain on my account.
It isn't TMobiles responsibility to run your service while bills for service aren't paid.

How is that working our for you.
I'm on auto-pay and when I call in if I have a question, the first thing the rep says is thanks for your long time service using Tmobile.

Unfortunately, T-Mobile can’t take into account every persons personal issues. Autopay was intended to have/allow people to not have to make payments/miss payment deadlines and be subject to disconnection. I know that if I miss my water bill deadline, I’m sent an auto disconnect message stating water will be disconnected in 3 days, with a $100 reconnect fee.
You may want to contact T-Mobile customer care to see how they can set you up on an automatic payment plan so that you don’t miss payments and be cut off from service.

Yes I am the primary account holder, and I did get the early morning text a week before the bill was due. I was in the hospital at that time. And when I was home is when T-mobile shut me down! Trying to get back on schedule with everything, dealing with my poor health and the deaths of 2 close friends.

apparently i missed the later part of your message lol..are you the primary account holder? i get texts before my billing cycle is about to end if i have yet to pay yet. heck even my Google reminds me of upcoming bills..or at least the main ones (power/gas/phone/etc)

I was not in the hospital when my phone service was disconnected! I needed phone in case I had to contact my doctors or caretaker to take me to the hospital. T-mobile could easily sent me a text that said “We are going to disconnect your service if you don’t pay your bill right now.” Or “do you need some more time to pay your bill although it is only 4 days late?”

this would be the mass majority of hospitals...every single thing you hear beeping and blorping away in there is zapping your signal..xray machines..the amount of wiring running through that entire place..yeah..every carrier has issues in hospitals..now if the hospitals contact the carriers they can hook up with I.T and install relays/boosters in there to help regain signal..but that is on the hospital to initiate
