Starlink SOS Texting.
I'm in the Starlink Beta for SOS messaging. When SOS is active and the Starlink Satellite symbol is displayed, it won't let me send a text it says insert sim card. Why is this? Or how do I activate texting? This is on a Pixel 9 Pro XL with current OS updated.
Are you using an eSIM or pSIM? The device needs a T-Mobile SIM card to be provisioned for the service. Have you tried powering off the device for at least 5 minutes to allow it to drop off the network and refresh? The device can not be in airplane mode to use Starlink. The SIM must be active and not in range of any cellular coverage. Starlink does not work inside.
