T-Mobile 5G Internet SUCKS
Today my T-Mobile 5G Internet is broken as usual. I made my decision to ditch it and ordered Spectrum, a more reliable service. Tomorrow morning will call T-Mobile customer nonservice and cancel my subscription. Enough is enough. I recommend everyone to do the same if you're able to.

I tend to agree. Typical speeds for me have been 800/40 from home Internet. When I use work Cisco VPN, it drops to around 6Mbps or less at times I don't have this issue on Spectrum. I've replaced the gateways more than 5x. Much of the issues started after October 2024 with T-Mobile firmware patches Last month gave 2 1/2 days service outages followed by gateway dropping service last week. Not usable for anything reliable

Two years later and t-mobile home internet still sucks. I've tried t-mobile a couple of times. When tmo was first available, then again a year later and now once again another year later. Still sucks. When installed a week ago it seem to be good enough for my needs, then after a couple of days, I was connected but no internet. After a lot of BS power on / off I got service. BUT now another week later, it really SUCKS 5.4 Mbps download 7.46 bps upload. I called yesterday and the answer we have tower problems. Although ATT provided wire service in this home it is no longer available. Xfinity / Comcast, I hate doing business with them because of their Bait and switch, ty-in marketing.

OMG, they suck so bad. Why am I paying for BS! Internet works maybe 50% of the time. So glad I don't need Internet for work or school, I would flunk or be fired. Just got a bill and I was charged $35 extra. Don't know what for. Did they decide, "we suck, let's raise prices"! So tired of this!!

I’m getting close to the end of my teather as well.

New customer. Worked fabulous for two weeks.
Now I must POPO tombstone to connect TV’s whenever I want a TV. Computers have no problem.
I’ll connect a timer and have it cycle every six hours.
Be nice if I could do this to city hall politicians. They also need booting every six hours or else they’ll spend all day counting their money.

I don’t work for T-Mobile. That would not be my answer.

5G (G = Generation) and 5 GHz (GigaHertz) are completely different things. If anyone wants help with their internet, please ask a specific question. It’s better to make a new thread than to add to an old thread.
The answer from T-Mobile will be “They are working on the towers”

Not everyone has the same experience as you with T-Mobile Home Internet.
I have been a happy customer of T-Mobile Home Internet for 18 months. Download speed varies between 300 and 600 Mbps. No outages except for a couple instances of tower maintenance.
Everyone has exactly the same experience. Please stop lying to good customers. 5G internet does not work. Get a normal WiFi provider. Maybe 10G will be better for internet but 5G is a disgrace. Without mentioning most security cameras and tv do not support 5G
