Area Code Format

This is just a very small thing that I have noticed.  T-Mobile is a phone company and the phone numbers are formatted like (xxx) xxx-xxxx.  This is a very old format and is a bit misleading because in most cases the area code is not optional.  Have you considered making the format in a more current state like xxx-xxx-xxxx or xxx.xxx.xxxx  ?
