Cancel trade-in and keep new phone
I upgraded to an iPhone 16 and setup to trade in my iPhone 13, but after finding out Apple won't be doing any security updates on older devices, I started considering keeping the 13 for my son.
Is it possible to just cancel the trade in and just pay the higher monthly installments on my new phone?
Ultimately, you need to discuss that with Customer Care. In most cases, you need to meet the requiremebts of the term/promotion or you end up getting billed the full cost of the device in one lump sum. You can also reach out to T-Mobile via DM on either Facebook or Twitter/X as well.
