As president of T-Mobile’s Consumer Group, Jon Freier is at the forefront of transforming T-Mobile’s consumer-facing brands leading consumer marketing, digital excellence, retail sales and distribution, customer care, strategic planning, and various operational functions across the enterprise. With a relentless focus on the customer, Jon is leading T-Mobile’s transformation into a digital-enabled, AI-powered, and data-driven company while ensuring that human connection remains at the heart of every experience.

Jon’s journey with T-Mobile started on the frontlines in 1994 when the original predecessor company, Western Wireless, was formed serving fewer than 50,000 customers. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in shaping T-Mobile into the industry leader it is today. He has been instrumental in the successful integration of multiple companies that T-Mobile has acquired over the last two decades, ensuring a seamless transition for tens of millions of customers while strengthening T-Mobile’s reputation for best-in-class service. Under his leadership, T-Mobile has continued to raise the bar in the customer experience, delivering the industry’s highest levels of satisfaction while driving operational excellence and creating shareholder value.

Jon has also been a driving force behind T-Mobile’s growth strategy, ensuring the company remains the leading choice for consumers by expanding its geographic reach in America’s smaller markets and rural areas, modernizing the customer service model, leading the charge in digital transformation, as well as strengthening its leading position across the nation's top 100 markets. As a member of T-Mobile's senior leadership team for over ten years, Jon's leadership has helped T-Mobile consistently outperform the competition, earning numerous external awards and accolades for service excellence and customer satisfaction. He has been consistently recognized for his leadership in making customers the foundation of every decision, reinforcing T-Mobile’s commitment to delivering the best value, best network, and best experience across the broader industry.

A Texas native, Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Lubbock Christian University and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University.
