Calling other countries from the U.S.
You can add the Stateside International with Mobile service as an add-on to your plan, which provides benefits such as:
- Unlimited calling from the U.S. to landlines in 70+ countries & destinations and mobile lines in 30+ countries & destinations.
- Discounted calling rates from the U.S. to all other countries & destinations.
- Unlimited texting to virtually anywhere.
- Manage your add-ons if you want to add an international service.
Text messaging other countries from the U.S.
If you have an Experience More, Experience Beyond, Go5G, Magenta, ONE Plan, or most plans activated after November 2015, you automatically have the Stateside International Unlimited Text Messaging feature, which lets you send and receive unlimited texts to any country in the world where texting is available (except Cuba or Wallis & Futuna) at no charge.
- This feature is included with many plans plan at no additional charge.

Other international call or text scenarios
Receiving international calls/text while in the U.S.
- All calls and messages received while in the U.S. are rated as national calls and billed accordingly.
- For most plans (with unlimited minutes/messages), this means all received international calls and messages are free/included with your plan while you are in the U.S.
Calling a U.S. mobile phone that is roaming internationally
- You are not charged international rates if you are stateside and call someone's US mobile phone while that person is roaming internationally.
- You are not charged because it is a US domestic number. However, the person overseas is subject to international roaming rates if they answer the call.
Wi-Fi calling
- Wi-Fi calls placed to other countries are subject to international rates.
- Messages sent while connected to Wi-Fi Calling are subject to international rates.
Call or text another country

- On your device, open the dialer in your phone app to make a call.
- Enter the plus sign + (press and hold the 0 key), followed by the country code, and then the phone number.

Block outgoing international calling & texting
- We offer the ability to block outgoing international calls or texts from your phone.
- This block isn't available to add online, so just give us a call at 1-877-746-0909 or contact us by message or social to add the service.
- If you're looking to block international roaming (usage while traveling outside the U.S.), check out Block international roaming.
Some things are not blocked
- This service doesn't block calls to Canada or the US Virgin Islands.
- This service can't block outgoing international calls if you are roaming domestically on another carrier's network. Those charges are considered valid.
- With the block you can still receive international calls/texts. T-Mobile doesn't charge extra for receiving international calls/texts while in the U.S.
- Third-party international calling apps that bill you separately are not blocked.
Legal Terms
T-Mobile blocks calls to 700, +800 (international toll free), 900, and 976 numbers. T-Mobile may also block calls to certain countries to help prevent potential fraud. This information relates to customers using T-Mobile's network. T-Mobile cannot guarantee features will function while roaming on another partner's network.
