30-day International Pass added to Magenta Max plan
We just added a 30-day 15GB International Pass to our Magenta Max domestic plan. No where on the T-Mobile web site do I find a clear explanation of the terms of the international plan. I’d appreciate more details on what the plan includes. Thanks!

Sometimes you want to add some extra data to your existing plan while abroad, and that’s where International Passes come in. We’ve got various passes to choose from depending on your needs and length of travel.
International 1 Day Pass: 512MB of high-speed data and unlimited calling, to be used up to 24 hours, for $5/day.
5GB International Pass: 5GB of high-speed data and unlimited calling, to be used up to 10 days, for $35.
15GB International Pass: 15GB of high-speed data and unlimited calling, to be used up to 30 days, for $50.Follow the steps below to add an International Pass to see what’s available for your plan. Additional passes can be purchased as needed once a purchased pass expires or is used up. Please note that International Passes will only work in 215+ Simple Global countries.
The only things that are unclear to me are
- Exactly when a pass starts and ends, particularly when purchased in advance.
- To what destinations can you call for free. I assume it’s the US and the 215+ “Simple Global” countries (e.g. not IRIDIUM phones) but it’s not clear.
