Email scam says from T-Mobile

Got an email that really looks like it came from T-Mobile, but of course it did not.  Said I was eligible for a free phone upgrade, which I know I am, and had a special on a iPhone 14.  Ask for credit card to pay for shipping $8 (2-3 days).  Stupid me,  I entered my card and low and behold a $87.59 charge shows up.  Luckily my cc company caught it and rejected the purchase.  But then a $5 shows up that I did not make, so I’m disputing that and getting another card.  I would like for T-Mobile to know about this.  So how do I let them know?

  • these days pretty much if anything is being offered free you should call in and confirm.

I know there's a way to report sms but for emails you may want to contact Tmobile support using messenger on one of tmobile's social media platforms to see if they can help you they also are a higher tier of support.

Also that $5 charge may be a hold so they can try later with a larger charge.
