Is the name change help page up to date?
I changed my name via court order, and per this page https://www.t-mobile.com/support/account/change-your-billing-name-ssn-or-birth-date it says to mail supporting documents and ID to the mailing add...

I know the OP was six months ago and your reply is 5 days ago. The OP mentioned it was a court order, which doesn’t mean it was based off marriage/divorce. I think they went through the court to have their name (first and/or last name) changed on their own will. Which states “For other legal name changes, send any supporting legal name change documents and a copy of a government-issued photo ID to the following address.”
Seeing the OP did just that and was given a big run around. Which makes me more worried on what is the best course action, as I’m in the same boat. (changed name based on court order). I do want to avoid sending stuff in and get put through the ringer, like the OP.
