North America Stateside international vs. simple global in Magenta plan

This may seem like a dumb question but I think I already know the answer but wish to confirm. 

I have Magenta. It includes simple choice global. Which seems to include I can call from other countries to the USA for .25 per minute

Stateside international seems to be for call from the USA to another country which I have no use for @ .25 per minute

Am I correct in that assumption if all the call i am doing will be from the country I am traveling to back to the USA and do not need Stateside international? I will only be calling from the Philippines to the USA never the other way around. I have a sim card in the Philippines for calling here locally.
