Deployed Soldier, Destroyed Phone | Request for Guidance
Good morning/evening/night All. I do not know the correct way to go about requesting assistance and hope this forum can help guide us to resolution. Situation is: We have a deployed Soldier who has a T-Mobile device that is irrecoverable (physical damage, work related). Now, we do not have access to a T-Mobile store in our location nor do we have access to the Soldier's One-Time-Passcodes (due to the damage to the device). Two questions for guidance: Is there an email or chat link we can follow for overseas (after-hours) support? How can we transition eSIM to another device if I cannot get someone on the line or by email? I was wondering where you can find your disabled devices on the T-mobile home internet app or website if that still even works anymore. It was accidentally disabled and now I can't find it anywhere and that devices is left without wifi.Solved10KViews0likes15CommentsLegacy Plan Price Increase - Former Employee of 9 years
I’ve been a loyal T-Mobile customer for years, and I’m always on top of my wireless billing, managing my account online without ever missing a payment. I recently learned about a price increase to my legacy plan, but not through the proper channels. T-Mobile claims they sent a text notification on 3-13-25, but I never received this text or any email. When I called customer care for clarification, I was met with a scripted and condescending tone, essentially brushing me off by reiterating that the text was sent. As someone who just added two new lines to my account on 4-16-25, I also wasn’t informed of the price increase then. When I asked for a price adjustment due to the lack of communication, both customer care and a supervisor gave me the runaround, offering no resolution. The lack of transparency and dismissive customer service has left me incredibly disappointed. I own all of my devices, so I’ll be porting my numbers out to a different provider soon. As for the two new lines, they’re still within the buyer’s remorse period and will be canceled. This experience only highlights how T-Mobile has lost touch with both its loyal customers and employees, just as they did during the Sprint merger.Nancysilva9110 hours agoNewbie Caller111Views1like2CommentsProblem with international roaming services in Costa Rica
My wife and I took a trip to Costa Rica prior to leaving we upgraded our plans so that we would have data roaming and international phone calls. When we arrived in Costa Rica our phones would not ever work but we are unconcerned at the time. However we got a flat tire while visiting Playa Carbone which is a very remote place in Costa Rica at the end of a dirt road. So we tried to make a phone call and we are unable to call anywhere we were basically stuck on the coast of Costa Rica as foreigners with no ability to make any phone call. This could have been very dangerous we were both in our 60s we are unable to change a flat tire. Thank God a local person was there who had a tire pump and was able to pump up our tires. When we got back to our hotel we called T-Mobile and my wife was on the phone with T-Mobile for over an hour trying to make our phones work internationally. It never worked we have now been in Costa Rica for 8 days and we are unable to make any phone calls. I am disgusted with t-mobile. The only people we can call is each other or people in the United States that is quite useless and dangerous for older folks who are visiting Costa Rica and depend on their phone. I am beyond disgusted with T-MobileRick6512 hours agoVisitor31Views0likes1CommentInternational Travel
Reading on T-Mobile site indicates that our i-phones / mobile phones will work internationally. No set up, no additional fees. Is this true? If not, what is needed to use a phone internationally (one country in Europe) for a week. Thanks in advance.SolvedTime4Me2Fly14 hours agoNetwork Novice20KViews0likes6CommentsSpotify / Pandora Prepaid Customers Using Mobile Data FIX
Ok. I have contacted my legal team (I work in the Legal field). And I asked if we can start a class action suit against TMobile for the dreaded challenge of these apps not working on mobile data being there is perk that if you sign up for a specific plan, you are entitled to music and not use your monthly data. Heck it's why I change from the 30 to 40$ plan... I have since opened 3 tickets. No resolution. I will say the work around is to use (Proton VPN APP is free) a VPN. Once you enable it, bam the music works on mobile data. You can disconnect the VPN and the music app still works. Now I also understand the APN hack to change to IP4 which does work but not 100%. But then your traveling at IP4 on all your apps... So the real challenge actually isn't TMobile but the actual music vendor not supporting IP6. So a class action suit would raise corporate eyebrows but in the end it's the fact of Spotify not on the IP6 level.1KViews4likes12Comments
