Quick Questions about International Pass 15 GB

Quick questions, we will be traveling to Japan (Tokyo for about two weeks) and we are planning to get the international Pass 15 GB plan. My question is will we be able to make and receive call (while in Japan) to friends in Japan or in the US without being charge extra for international calling? 

Any idea what speed/ data will be? (If it matter we both have 5g phones?)

And how’s the service in Tokyo =).
