Refund taking over 12 days
T Mobile processed my autopay fee days late and I was double charged for my bill this month. They 'refunded' the double charge but it's been 12 days and I have yet to see my money back. Has anyone else had this issue? This is a big deal because I need the money from this refund and it's like t mobile just refused to release the money. I already checked with my bank and all they can do is a dispute investigation that'll take up to 10 more days.
They were refunding it to my card. The negative amount in my account from the double payment has already been zeroed out and every rep I've talked to has assured me it should only take up to 3 days to be put back on my card.
Refunds can take time. They have to go to the billing department, be approved, and then processed. The processing alone can take 5 business days or longer. If that refund is being sent out as a check. You can expect to wait 6 to 8 weeks for it. Are you sure T-Mobile is actually refunding it and sending the money back to you or are they just refunding it as a credit to your account?
