T-Mobile doesn’t care about losing customers

Longtime Sprint customer who got rolled into a T-Mobile account because of the merge. I had a 2nd line free with Sprint. T-Mobile’s way of fixing that was to give me a promotion that apparently had a shelf life and now I’m being charged for my second phone line. They claim there’s nothing they can do to resolve it. I’ve had several phone calls and flat out being told it was a promo and it ended. Yes, their solution was to make it a promotion to get me my second line free in their system - I get that, however there shouldn’t be a term limit on there. I was a Sprint customer and they should honor my plan with Sprint since I had no choice but to become a T-Mobile customer due to the merge. As a former Sprint customer, I’m not even getting all the perks of being a T-Mobile customer. I have 3 bill cycles left and my phone will be paid off and then it’s asta to T-Mobile and their lack of ability to find a solution.

  • I have been a t-mobile customer for decades. Always a loyal fan. Well now they have become like every other big corporation and will lie, cheat and steal for our $$$. I have been on their 55 + plan in which they guarantee the rate will NEVER increase. “Guaranteed rate lock for life”. Well guess what? I just got this text:

“T-Mobile: For the first time in nearly a decade, we're making an update to the price of some of our older monthly service plans. Starting on 4/2/2025, your phone plan will increase by $5 per line per month. You'll keep all the benefits you currently enjoy, and your rate plan type and bill due date remain the same. For more information, visit secure.t-mobile.com/s3fNe5LTf”.

False advertising, breach of contract, illegal practices—it’s time to fight back! Complain to t-mobile corporate AND EVERYONE needs to file a complaint with the FCC!!

Ace4 The Sprint system was shutdown.  They used a completely different backend and system for their provisioning, plans, and billing.  The system doesn't allow for creating custom plans or just whipping something up to suit the desired plan, features, and cost.  Plans and promotions are created way up at the corporate level.  When a plan and or promotion is discontinued, it is removed from the system.  You can't just go in and assign something that is no longer there.

Lazianique7 If you would have had auto pay enabled, that might have saved you thise late fees because the system would have automatically tried to take the payment out when it was due.

  • They did the same thing to me. 18 years with sprint and now I’m having all kinds of issues. Over billing being one. If they can find something to exploit to get a few extra bucks they definitely will. They shut my service off one day after it was due so that I would have to pay reconnection fees on all lines. There’s a class action suit under way and I’m thinking about joining it. There’sy really don’t care about losing customers they’d rather make a few extra bucks than to keep life long customers thus constant bucks. They actually lose money. I’ve just about had it with them. Don’t add any services because I did and my bill went up almost $300 for internet that cost $50. It’s a total scam.
