Upgraded to 5GNext today but the change doesn’t take affect until 9-14 and i want to upgrade tomorrow
Hey I just switched to the 5GNext plan so I can maximize my discount for the new iPhones, however I see that it doesn’t take effect until 9-14. Does this mean I will not be able to take advantage of my iPhone 16 discounts since tomorrow is the 13th?
Once upon a time, the system used to go by the date the plan change was requested. That annoyed a lot of customers who had their month of service prorated due to the partial month of their old plan and partial month of their new one. This is why plan changes don't take effect until the next billing cycle.
Discounts and promotions usually reflect the current active plan when placing the order.
