You need to check the bands and make sure it's VoLte compatible with TMobile.

Try checking XDA forums for that phone.

Also, this is an international phone, not one sold by T-mobile (USA).

Thanks Gramps, I am not sure of the SIM size on new phone, but the bands are 5g (under 6GHz ) and 4G LTE for the new phone.

As long as you have the correct size of sim card and the phone has the correct bands.
