Want to transfer ownership leased phones eligible for upgrade
Hello,
I am looking to transfer ownership of some of my lines to somebody else, two of these lines has Jump on Demand phones with two payments lefts that are eligible for upgrade already. My question is, can they upgrade on the new line to avoid paying the last two payments upfront? Or should I wait until all payments to transfer the line and they start a new lease? I can wait but my intention is to do this soon.
Thanks,
Hi...
JUMP! leases
The JUMP! on Demand lease can't be transferred from the original account. The original customer remains responsible for the leased device according to the terms and conditions of the lease agreement.
Only;
The Equipment Installment Plan, or EIP, associated with the line(s) you are receiving into your account can only be transferred to qualifying accounts within 60 days of the COR date.
hope it Helps =)
Thanks

There's no interest on the phone if it's on an EIP with Tmobile.
