Will my child or the caller know if I block a number from their phone?

It is pretty easy to figure out when someone has blocked another. If the person you are blocking tries to call the number they are clocked, they will get a response that upon looking up, will let them know they have been blocked. If these kids see each other, it’s going to come up. Also, blocking doesn’t affect things like Facebook Messenger, SnapChat, kik, and all of the many other things kids use to communicate.
Personally, I believe the best way is always to speak to your child and discuss the situation with them. Trying to be sneaky about the situation is only going to cause more issues than sitting down with them and explaining what the issue is and why you don’t want them to communicate with this person.
