How do I activate service on a new unlocked phone replacing an existing phone on my account

Depending how old the SIM is, you might want to pick up a replacement down the road. It will still work in the new phone though. You just might not have 5G available if the SIM is that old.

put the sim card from the old phone into the new phone?
was the old phone a 5G phone or a 4G phone? might have to upgrade your sim card to allow 5G if the older phone wasnt 5G capable.
