Air tag question

How can I detect an air tag? I was riding in the car with my daughter and her phone notified her that there was an air tag somewhere in the vehicle. She has an apple phone and I have an android. How can a person with an android receive notification of trackers ,air tags.

    Depending on what phone you have, go to settings and turn on the unknown tracker alerts. Will alert you to Samsung tags near you but I’m not sure if it will detect Apple tags or not.
