App Selector Security Concerns
I have concerns about the app selector application. It seems to be installing apps through security blocks. It is annoying enough to have apps installed without permission. My concern is that it is installing apps within a locked down work profile without consent. This means that app selector opens a security breach to the system that could be potentially exploited. The money Tmobile makes on these apps is not worth risking the security of its users and their devices. This shows a lack of care or regard for their customers. I had to jump through hoops to remove this virus from my brand new phone.

I've had the exact same experience as you and I work for the Department of Homeland Security on human trafficking and drug cases for the DEA. Several months ago T-Mobile just breached my phone with an intrusion and downloaded 12 different apps without my consent or authorization, and without the authorization of the United States Federal Government, whom is in the process of suing T-Mobile and all of their third parties involved with the T-Mobile App Selector BS scam... It definitely leaves the phone open to security issues and not only the phone but the wi-fi system- Network that it's on at the the T-Mobile App Selector App seizes control of the phone to download the bulls*** apps it randomly selects based on profit for T-Mobile.
It's a completely Unauthorized Intrusion and is T-Mobile is going to get their handed to them again through lawsuits, whether it be immediately or a couple years down the road! So I guess that answers another question here as to why T-Mobile is raising their prices-- to cover losses from there past, pending and future lawsuits against them, which they'll lose!!
What T-Mobile is doing with their App Selector App is Complete BS, especially after their huge data breach just several years ago in which they lied to their customers about the severity of the breach. This one just might be worse because it's a choice the company made made knowingly and willingly, so it's premeditated.

Just disable it. A locked down work phone shouldn't be able to install any apps if done correctly. If there is a flaw it would be the package installer
