Galaxy S20 ported from Verizon does not get 5G from T-Mobile
I have a Galaxy S20 FE ported from Verizon and it almost never gets a T-Mobile 5G signal even in areas where family members who have brand new IPhones from T-Mobile are receiving strong 5G signals. ...
The user's Samsung Galaxy S20 FE from Verizon rarely gets a T-Mobile 5G signal, while family members with new iPhones from T-Mobile do. T-Mobile customer service said this is because the phone is "older" and may not have the technology to receive all of T-Mobile's 5G spectrum. The user is frustrated that they were not informed of this when they moved their 6-line account to T-Mobile.
