My unlocked galaxy s20 stopped working with other carriers
I have a Samsung Galaxy s20 from T-mobile that I bought a year ago on Amazon as an unlocked phone. I have been using this phone with an ATT sim card without any problems for a year. Today I noticed that I can’t make or receive calls with it. The phone works, it’s just that I can’t call anyone nor I can be called. I tested my ATT sim card in another phone and that phone worked fine (makes/receives calls). I tested the unlocked S20 with a T-mobile sim card and phone makes/receives calls. Thus, the phone behaves as locked, though it worked fine for a year. Any suggestions?
Maybe the phone was not actually carrier unlocked and when the phone received an update it reset like a jailbroke iPhone would do causing it to lock. This is just a hypothesis but I suggest contacting the seller from Amazon.
