Everyone should open up a complaint with the FCC. It will take 5 minutes or less.
Do you have the link to FCC complaint option?
I received a text from t-mobile today stating: "For the first time in nearly a decade, we're making an update to the price of some of our older monthly service plans. Starting on 4/2/2025, your phone plan will increase by $5 per line per month. You'll keep all the benefits you currently enjoy, and your rate plan type and bill due date remain the same."
I am on the Magenta Military plan. According to the T-Mobile Price Lock & Un-contract Promise: Frequently Asked Questions (https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/price-lock-faqs), the following plans are covered by the Price Lock guarantee:
Which voice plans available today qualify for Price Lock?
Any new customer activating on Go5G Next, Go5G Plus™, Go5G™, Essentials™ Saver, Magenta®, MAX, Essentials™, 55+, Military, First Responder, Go5G Business, Go5G Business Next, Business Unlimited Select, Business Unlimited Advanced, Business Unlimited Ultimate, Legacy Business Unlimited, or tablet with unlimited data qualifies for Last Month Price Lock for as long as you are in good standing with one of those plans.
I called t-mobile and the rep told me that "Magenta Military" does not qualify for the price lock guarantee. This seems to contradict the FAQ cited above but I was told "Magenta Military" is not covered by the guarantee. I hope someone from t-mobile can explain how they reconcile this contradiction. Otherwise, I may file a complaint with the FCC as recommended in this forum.
