device unlock

T-Mobile has given me the runaround for unlocking my phone for like 2 months. Their policy apparently is 40 day usage. I was told by several agents that I didn’t need to because of my 18 years with T-Mobile. The agent said the phone is already unlocked since it’s never activated. So I brought the phone overseas to give to my brother but turns out the phone was never unlocked at all. Made several calls to T-Mobile but no result. I have 7 lines active and as of tomorrow I will take my service to Verizon  For the past two months T-Mobile agents have given me the runaround where it hasn’t solved anything. I will cancel my account after 18 years.
