Use prepaid/postpaid plan for a month and join a family plan
I’m an international student, can I first join a prepaid plan temporarily to get my SIM card, and join a family plan later? If this works out, what should the primary phone line holder of the family plan do?
You would need a new SIM and would need to port your number from prepaid to postpaid. You will need your Student Visa number when setting up a postpaid account. depending on how long your Visa is good for, can depend on whether or not a postpaid account would be worth the trouble for you.
