VPN and Outlook

I just got T-Mobile internet. When I log onto Outlook and VPN my email disconnects. This used to be a problem when connecting to hot spot with T-Mobile and some how it eventually resolved. I’m going to have to return the Gateway and cancel internet if I can’t get VPN access to work correctly. Frustrating because I only seem to have the problem with T-Mobile. Anyone experiencing the same problem?
