incoming texts and calls from blocked numbers showing up on usage details
We have a certain number blocked on our phones in our family. However, in looking at our phone bills and usage records online, that number shows up as an incoming text (only) on a couple of isolated occasions. Person whose phone line it’s under swears they’ve never ever unblocked such number, still have it blocked and have never received/seen any texts but can’t explain why it’s showing up. Any plausible explanations to this? Is it really possible that incoming texts or calls from blocked numbers are not really received/delivered and yet show up on usage records? Or the only way that the texts/calls will show up in the usage log is if the number was unblocked?
To no avail, went through all my phone settings, and haven't found a solution

I know with SMS blocking them as spam will remove and put them into a separate folder but for some reason phone calls don’t.
Have you searched for an app that may do it?
Not concerned about usage in billing, how can I stop my spam calls i have blocked, from showing up on my recent call log? They call but can't get through, but yet they are on my call log.
Even blocked users will show as usage in billing.
