want to eliminate voicemail
Have charge per call. Spammers call, wait to be transferred to voice mail to be sure I won’t answer and I get charged for a completed call. Can erase the voicecall number which solves the problem but tmobile keeps putting it back in. Want to eliminate the service.

I called Tmobile and was told you cannot turn off voicemail, you can turn off your access to it but others can call and still be able to leave voice messages.

DCF (Defined Conditional Forwarding) prevents disabling forwarding to voicemail. I call this feature, “The customers are all idiots mode.” T-Mobile implemented it many years ago. A pox upon whomever it was that made the decision.
