want to eliminate voicemail

Have charge per call.  Spammers call, wait to be transferred to voice mail to be sure I won’t answer and I get charged for a completed call.  Can erase the voicecall number which solves the problem but tmobile keeps putting it back in.  Want to eliminate the service.

I called Tmobile and was told you cannot turn off voicemail, you can turn off your access to it but others can call and still be able to leave voice messages.

  • DCF (Defined Conditional Forwarding) prevents disabling forwarding to voicemail. I call this feature, “The customers are all idiots mode.” T-Mobile implemented it many years ago. A pox upon whomever it was that made the decision.
