What can my PIN be used for?
I’m a new customer, creating my PIN/passcode. I started to enter a short numeric one, but then began to wonder what all it can be used for. Should I make it long and strong instead?
From what I have experienced T-Mobile will ask for your PIN when you contact them for support matters. It is just another authentication verification element to make sure you are who you say you are. My suggestion is don’t get carried away with a super complicated PIN but make it so you can remember it and enough that it makes sense. If you forget it and don’t record it offline in a secure place then the reset for a new one is possible but a bother.
