Voicemail wants me to set up, but it was already set up.
First of all, I’m frantic. My daughter was murdered a year ago, and I’ve kept her phone number active so I can hear her voice on her voicemail. I just called to listen to her voicemail, and it is telling me to set it up. Her voice is gone. Why on earth did this happen?! Is there a way to get it back? Please tell me it was some random glitch today and will back working as usual tomorrow!
Did you resolve this? I just realized today my voicemail is “not set up”. I have no idea how long it’s been this way or how many voicemails I’ve missed.
I had messages from my deceased parents saved that I was keeping.
I didn't get resolved. I can still hear her say her name as the message when I call, but calling the voicemail number from her phone doesn't play it. It is letting me hear the voicemails again, but the ones that were saved are gone. I hope by some miracle you got yours back. If you did, make sure to play the messages into a device that can record them. I played the voicemail I had saved to my phone from my daughter into my computer microphone so I could save it there. I'm so sorry for your losses.
