Lima Peru use
Will T-Mobile work in Peru phone-to-phone either text or voice? Have a magenta plan
Yes, I was in Peru in Sept this year. Lima and Cusco no problems. Even had full LTE bars in Machu Picchu. I don’t recall ever being in a dead spot along the Sacred Valley either.

Note that calls are 25¢/min both incoming and outgoing. So a call between two roaming phones totals 50¢/min. It’s much better to use a VoIP app like Facetime or Viber.
