I have an HP Photsmart 7520 and once I changed the WPA version from WPA2/WPA3 to WPA/WPA2 it connected on my first attempt using the wizard. Thanks for saving me the hassle “Shredz22” nice tip!!!

I have a pretty old HP deskjet 3050 and the new 5G wireless black tower. I went into the T-mobile app required when you get the network set up and changed the network settings. Go to the advanced settings “WPA version” and change it from “WPA2/WPA3” to “WPA/WPA2”. Mine was able to finally connect after doing this. Hope this helps!

While there’s no WPS button to push, you won’t have to. All you do is press “OK” and enter the T-Mobile Internet WIFI password, then you’re all set. It worked for me and my printer is older than yours.

Do you by chance know the user name and password? I have tried all that are connected to my account
If you are talking about logging into the gateway as administrator, the username “admin” and the password are printed on a white label attached to the bottom of the gateway.

Can you tell me how to change it from ax to n on the gateway? One the silver tower or computer network? Thank you.
Change on the gateway (silver tower).
Network → WiFi-Networks → 2.4GHz → Transmission Mode = n/g
Hope this helps!
Thank you for helping me. It works now. Lordy. :)

My HP Printer worked find on my Cox network. Now that I switched to TMobile, I can’t add the printer driver to my computer. How is this fixed? When you hit the + sign to add a printer, no printers show up anymore. Thank you.
The 5G gateway is set up for WiFi6, which some older printers cannot handle.
My unique solution was to change the transmission mode of the 2.4GHz from ax to n on the gateway, so that my older printer could connect and be seen on the network.
