PS5 internet connection issues
I recently switched my wifi from optimum to the Tmobile 5g Gateway. It connects to my phone and laptop and works wonderful but it won’t seem to connect to my playstation no matter what I do. Ive trie...
- @Jmorris2004, I’m not much of a gamer but a few posts have said several different fixes worked.
- try an Ethernet cable
- set up a separate 2.4 and 5ghz SSIDs for the PlayStation so it’s not competing with other devices
- after making changes then reboot both devices and try to connect the PlayStation

HEY GUYS, so just tried to troubleshoot for the last 10 hrs. So I noticed something fishy bc my youtube comments wouldn't load, it said that I can't see the comments on any youtube video bc of restricted mode. Also netflix wouldn't work if i was connected to my tmobile home internet. So I called them up and they turned the "protection mode" off, and everything, including my PS5 started connecting again. We have a business account, so apparently that's something that automatically turns on unless you request for it to be turned off
